I wanted to provide you all an update on the new training fees for 2024.

Training fees from February 2024 onwards

Monthly Option:

•  $50
•  $25 (for each subsequent family member)

Per Session Option:

•  $15
•  $10 (for each subsequent family member)

For your situational awareness, here is a brief extracted from Peter's "Welcome to 2024" Email; delivered on 09/01/2024.
At the AGM in Dec, the decision was made to increase training fees to cover the costs of running the club.
The new training fees will apply from the start of February.

As a not-for-profit, no one receives any payment for instructing - we're a group of volunteers.
Most of our training fees go directly toward the hire costs for our dojo.
We've absorbed a couple of hire fee increases, but with another this year, we need to raise training fees.
We also provide support to members to make attendance at large events that little bit easier (e.g. local transport in Yeppoon for SW23).

At the AGM, Wally-sensei noted that he moved the club to BCC 21 years ago, and this will be the first increase in training fees since that move!

To take advantage of the discounted rate available with the monthly option, you need to pay your training fees at the start of the month, otherwise you'll be on the Per Session option.  With up to 14 training sessions available in a month, this remains fantastic value.
